How we are living here in Kullu-Manali during COVID-19 lockdown.
We are living a normal life here in Kullu, as no active case after the First COVID-19 positive case whose report came negative now in the Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh. Earlier one positive case was found in the Quarantine center of Kullu district, Whose repost came negative for COVID-19 a few days back. Therefore no active case is in Kullu district, which is the good news of people living here.
A 29-year old woman tested positive in Bhuntar of Kullu district on June 5th.
As there is no active case here in Kullu-Manali so here people are living a normal life, with somehow fear from the people who are coming from outside of Himachal Pradesh. A fear which is created by news and rumors can not be undone. Precaution is necessary but also we should understand the difference between reality and rumors. Also, a few of them are afraid unnecessarily from the family of the people coming from outside even when they are quarantined in separate buildings, which is not good I think.

Q.) When School, Colleges, ITI, and other Educational institutes will open?
A.) As of now, there are no specific guidelines from HP Government. So students can relax but before that faculty may have to join earlier.

People in Kullu are not following the precautionary guidelines of social distancing given by the Government of India and WHO. They think that the major cause of coronavirus is only the people coming from outside the state, but somewhere they are denying the fact that it can be spread through the people carrying goods and essentials to our state(HP).
Recently one person found positive for COVID-19 who was carrying goods from Himachal to the other states like Punjab, Delhi, Chandigarh, etc. Now the concern is about the people who came in contact with him in the past 2 weeks. Finding a chain of the people who came in contact with him has been started from the Sabzi Mandi of Kullu. These things can be avoided if we follow social distancing and wearing masks.
Bang - Near Manali is one of the best places for a get-together party for Bhai-log.
The fact is that the people of the valley are not aware of the seriousness of coronavirus. People are afraid, not aware, which is not good for us.

Beautiful spots of Kullu Valley:
All the beautiful spots are closed for travelers due to the coronavirus pandemic and will remain closed for at least another couple of months. Some beautiful spots are Jana waterfall, Naggar Castle and Roerich Art Gallery, Bijli Mahadev, Sharabai Monastery, Old Manali(Culture), Hidimba Temple in Manali, Solang Valley, Manikaran(hot water), Rohtang pass, and maybe Kasol for a few of us.
