Atal tunnel Status Today = OPEN*

Atal Tunnel Rohtang is closed today July 25, 2024 due to cloud burst on Wednesday night. Beyond the Atal tunnel toward Lahoul, you may not allowed to go as things will depend on the daily road conditions due to weather. You may only be allowed to reach the Atal Tunnel if there is snow on the road and the road is slippery.

Open time: 24x7.

Maintenance Time(May vary sometimes): From 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM in the morning

and from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM in the evening.

The decision to close the tunnel for one-one hour on daily bases is taken due to the maintenance activity being carried out twice daily. These timings are official timings but still I saw Tunnel was opened in these time slot as well.

Atal Tunnel which people also call Rohtang Tunnel connects beautiful Manali to Beautiful Lahoul & Spiti.

Border Road Organisation(BRO) played the main role in the construction of this tunnel.

Buses started on all six to seven routes of the corporation from Udaipur to Kullu and Keylong. This is the best time to visit Atal Tunnel Rohtang here and also you can try to visit Sissu village. The Manali-Leh is also open for tourists.
